Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure and application components.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, firewalls, switches, UPSs, and other hardware
- Configure, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipment and related services
- Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems
- Architecting, creating, managing, and maintaining Network, Server and PC health for clients
- Managing existing and deploying new system configurations, including Windows Server, Mobile Devices, Mobile Platforms and Desktops (Windows and MAC)
- Managing and Operation of MPLS Network
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required, although some employers may consider candidates with an Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Senior Network Engineers generally have at least 5-7 years of experience working in network engineering or a related field. This experience should include experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, as well as experience with network security and administration.
- Technical skills: Senior Network Engineers should have a deep understanding of network protocols, technologies, and tools, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring tools. They should also have experience with network hardware, such as routers, switches, and access points.
- Certifications: Senior Network Engineers should have relevant certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other industry-standard certifications.
- Soft skills: Senior Network Engineers should have strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as they will be responsible for managing and collaborating with a team of network engineers and other IT professionals. They should also have the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
