Security Guards

We are looking for dedicated and driven Security Guards to join our team in various locations across Los Angeles County.

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of duties and tasks based on contract specifications and site-specific post orders.

Your primary role will be to ensure the safety and security of the facilities you are assigned to protect. By maintaining a visible presence, you will deter criminal activity and identify and report any suspicious, unsafe, or criminal actions that could pose a threat to the property, clients, guests, or employees on site.

Key Responsibilities and Duties may include:

• Engaging with a diverse range of people, such as clients, visitors, employees, contractors, and the general public
• Remaining vigilant for any potentially dangerous situations
• Accurately documenting daily activities in Daily Activity Reports (DARs)
• Conducting routine patrols to ensure doors, gates, and windows are securely locked
• Monitoring the premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions
• Constantly surveying assigned areas
• Warning those who violate premises rules and regulations
• Reporting any issues or concerns

Requirements:

• Valid Guard Card
• Prior Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred
• For armed security guards, a valid firearms permit issued by BSIS and possession of your own firearm
• Reliable transportation to and from all worksites, along with up-to-date contact information
• Clean, pressed security uniforms with black shoes to be worn while on duty
• Ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods
• A strong sense of integrity and a commitment to protecting and serving others
• Keen attention to detail
• Punctuality is essential

Physical Requirements and Environment:

• May be exposed to outdoor environments with varying temperature ranges, from moderate to extreme cold and heat
• Involves walking, standing, speaking, listening, and observing
