Black Belt Engineer Continuous Improvement

The requirements:

• Must have a Black Belt certification as well as experience in manufacturing, supporting and driving projects related to manufacturing, product design, and quality assurance.
• Metal manufacturing, assembly, or machining experience is preferred.

The responsibilities:

• This position is the only black belt at this corporate location, and it consists of developing and implementing projects designed to positively impact key COPO metrics, such as scrap, rework and customer complaints.
• Leads functional teams to resolve systemic and product-specific issues.
• This is a new position to support this corporate manufacturing plant and an industrial leader.
