The Database Administrator Expert Key/Tasks Duties may include some or all the following:
- Provide expert advice to technical specialists and stakeholders and seek their cooperation in the provision of database administration
- Manage database software installations and upgrades to maintain currency with supported
- Administer the database configuration, security, scheme, and objects, ensuring compliance against agreed standards and
- Lead and authorise the implementation of access controls to secure databases from unauthorised
- Use manages the data management process including initial loading, creating, maintaining, and distributing data
- Investigate security breaches and database related incidents, analyse their impacts, and apply remedial
- Implement corrective actions to improve performance and availability of databases
- Plan operational backup, archival and recovery activities, and cyclical disaster recovery

- Experience in one or more of the following monitoring tools such as: Dynatrace, Elastic (Kibana), IBM Data Server Manager, MongoDB Ops Manager,
