Responsibilities :
- Leads the creation and/or evolution of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) function/program, including coordination of an appropriately balanced pursuit of enterprise business, information, technical and solution architectures.
- Understands, advocates and augments the principles of IT strategies.
- Leads the identification and development of enterprise technology innovation initiatives.
- Leads the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to derive enterprise business, information, technical and solutions architecture requirements.
- Analyzes the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement.
- Analyzes technology industry and market trends and determines potential impact on the enterprise.
- Leads and develops partnership with Business Relations team in creation of business capability roadmaps.
- Sells the architecture process, its outcome and ongoing results to the organization and its IT and business leaders.
- Leads/facilitates the creation of principles to guide technology decisions for the enterprise.
- Designs and leads the implementation plan of the EA based on business requirements and IT strategies.
- Modeling the technical landscape to analyze the alignment of business capabilities with delivered technology and IT solutions
- Analyzing the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and collaborating with Enterprise Architecture from other lines of business and development team architects to recommend solutions for improvement
- Communicating the value delivered by the Enterprise Architecture process by communicating outcomes and ongoing results
- Defining the principles that guide technology decisions for the segment
- Designs and directs the governance activities associated with ensuring compliance with EA.
- Oversees enterprise architecture implementation and modification activities.
- Oversees the evaluation and selection of hardware and software product standards and the design of standard configurations.
- Consults with application development projects to fit systems to architecture and identifies when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate project needs.
- Consults with infrastructure development projects to fit infrastructure to architecture and identifies when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate infrastructure needs.
- Identifies the organizational (skills, processes, structures, and culture) and financial impact of EA.
- Oversees the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work.
- Leads development and execution of a communication (including education) plan for EA.
- Assesses and communicates the achievement and impact of EA.
- Develops IT strategies.
- Drives strategic vision for technology .
Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Experience :
- 15 years of IT experience in at least two IT disciplines, with at least 7-10 years of experience in business analysis and/or business strategic planning.
- 5+ years of EA experience
- Strong TOGAF knowledge
