Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for moving materials throughout the Company, including unloading inbound freight, moving material between the distribution center and production, loading outbound freight, and order Supervisory Responsibiliti es: Duties/Responsibilities: Acquire Got-Rack Certified Forklift Driver license Follow all safety rules and regulations for forklift driving Accurately pull Pick & Ship orders from inventory Stage and prepare materials for Paint and Fabrication Stage and prepare materials within the Staging Area for shipping Accurately pull hardware to complete orders in Staging Tag, band, stack, document, and organize materials within designated area Keep designated area clean, neat, and organized Load and unload materials from a variety of commercial and private vehicles Safely maximize truck loads based on height and weight specifications Follow Got-Rack s daily forklift maintenance routine Utilize platform for shipping and receiving Take and upload accurate pictures of inbound/outbound freight Perform other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Forklift driver and material handling experience required (1 year) Ability to use and read a tape measure Basic math skills required Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of Got-Rack s product line Work independently or with a team with a sense of urgency Ability to work in fast-paced environment Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse and Must be able and willing to work in all weather conditions in an open-air warehouse
