Staffinity is currently seeking a Technical Product Owner - 5G for a client located in This is a full-time, in-office permanent position with a salary range between $130K - $150K plus We are looking for self starters with experience ramping up
Responsibilities:
- Lead Scrum Teams as the Product Owner
- Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
- Ensure that the team always has enough prepared tasks to work on
- Define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities
- Assess value that are aligned with product strategy
- Develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work closely with Sales and Technology team to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
- Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
- Follow our competitors and the industry
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
Qualifications:
- Understanding of Core Network protocols, good understanding of network architecture of 5G/4G networks
- Experience in developing or integrating with real-time systems for networking products
- Experience in developing with Software Defined Network Elements is an asset
- Understanding of Network protocols and access (MPLS, OpenBGP, OpenFlow) is an asset
- Understanding of networking principles and concepts (SDN-WAN, SDN, labelling, routing ) is an asset
- Understanding of 3GPP/5G network management, including Radio configuration, QoS management, SLA management, Netconf, SNMP
- Working level knowledge of different 3GPP defined protocol layer & stack, specification is an asset
- Should have working knowledge of 5G/4G technologies on Radio side and Transport side
- Experience working with Scrum APM practices and tools including Jira, Confluence, Git
- Possess knowledge of Agile software development
- Software Application development process knowledge with understanding of REST API
