About the Company


Our Client is a global provider of managed network solutions with offices in all the major cities in the


Responsibilities


We re looking for a well-organised, results-driven Supplier Relations Manager to be part of a global team owning supplier relations management and providing advice on sales and procurement


  • Lead supplier strategies, including managing relations and rationalization;
  • Build strong relationships and maintain contracts and service level agreements with suppliers;
  • Assess costs with suppliers and identify opportunities for savings or cost reduction;
  • Perform strategic sourcing, by preparing business cases, contract alternatives and financial models;
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders for negotiations with suppliers;
  • Ensure that suppliers are optimized in each region and market;
  • Review and evaluate performance of suppliers to identify areas for improvement;
  • Support commercial teams in identifying new suppliers for business solutions;
  • Interface with suppliers as the main point of contact;
  • Ensure that supplier information is properly recorded within the internal systems;
  • Stay updated on technology trends and developments, including attending exhibitions and

Requirements

  • Tertiary education in any discipline;
  • At least 2 years of work experience in supplier relations or vendor management;
  • Prior experience in working in the technology, telecommunications and internet space would be an advantage;
  • Attention to detail and quality-driven mindset, with the ability to work in a structured environment;
  • Interest in the business and commercial aspects of technology;
  • Proactive, open-minded and willing to learn attitude;
  • Flexibility, problem-solving skills and go-getting attitude;
  • Ability to work well under pressure;
  • Positive mindset, enthusiasm and drive;
  • Excellent communication skills, including negotiation
