Your Mission

As Business Development/Sales Manager, you will work on identifying and driving new business opportunities to help the company to grow and to become an established actor on the French market. You will build and maintain close relationships with public authorities, meet potential customers and actively communicate about the ubitricity solutions to the market. Your tasks will also include to maintain the public charging infrastructure pipeline in France and to respond to tenders.

You will be part of a dedicated team focused on establishing new markets and partnerships for charging infrastructure across Europe, as well as developing and improving our product and service offering.

We are looking for someone with a commercial background who is customer-focused and has strong communication skills, but who also has the ability to manage and understand technical aspects of projects and can therefore work well aslo with a more technical team, such as service provides. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can drive and develop the French market in line with the company's goals and ambitions.

Responsibilities

  • Foster and build strong relationships with public authorities responsible for EV charging infrastructure
  • Communicate pro-active about the solutions offered by ubitricity on the French market, this includes participation in trade fairs and other EV charging events
  • Identify new business opportunities - including customers, growth areas, trends, partnerships, products, and services
  • Provide the relevant market insights on customer needs to develop the product and service offering for the French market
  • Respond to tenders for public procurement of charging infrastructure e.g., develop suitable technical solutions, select delivery partners, and develop commercial offers

Your profile

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a commercial position
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience from working within the e-mobility industry or a similar field is an advantage
  • Experience in the management and writing of offers for public sector tenders is an advantage
  • Ability to speak and write in English and French fluently is a prerequisite
  • Initiative and the confidence to start and drive topics and projects from scratch
  • Your character traits include self-confident, positive, forward-thinking, analytical as well as a strong interest in innovative technologies.
