Structural Project Engineer

An established multi-disciplined firm is looking to add aStructural Project Engineerto their Seattle team! This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule to split time between the office and working from home.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of design for structural systems for a wide range of building types
  
• Work as part of a collaborative design team as well with other disciplines
  
• Prepare engineering drawings/calculations
  
• Prepare detailed engineering reports/construction documents
  
• Construction administration duties
  
• Write/review specifications
  
• Review shop drawings/RFIs/submittals
  
• Conduct site visits as needed
  

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor s degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering plus 4+ years of structural engineering experience
  
• Master s degree plus 2+ years of structural engineering experience preferred
  
• Experience is design of concrete, masonry, steel, wood materials, gravity and lateral systems
  
• PE/SE preferred
  
• Working knowledge of structural software (ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc)
  
• Knowledge of commercial building materials, systems and assemblies
  
• Experience with sustainable building design preferred
  
• BIM (Autodesk Revit workflow) experience preferred
