Tasks

Your tasks:

• Development and maintenance of scientific software for visualizing biological sequence data
• Work both customer-focused and in scientific collaborations
• Writing automated tests and CI pipelines
• Focus on reliability, efficiency and user-friendliness

Requirements

Your qualifications:

• University degree in software development, software engineering, bioinformatics, or a similar discipline
• Experience with C++ programming and/or Javascript/Typescript/Vue.js
• Experience with full stack development is advantageous
• Experience with REST APIs is advantageous
• Knowledge of data visualization is advantageous
• Software development in a team using version control (i.e. git), CI/CD testing and issue tracking
• Experience with Linux shell (bash, zsh, fish, screen etc.), commands and scripting
• Knowledge of genetics and/or plant breeding are advantageous
• Fluent in English
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proactive team player
• Capable of working autonomously
