Paralegal - Insurance Defense Litigation 36592

Downtown Houston area law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal. Individual must be detail oriented and able to work on a team. Duties will include, but are not limited to, reviewing and summarizing medical records, deposition testimony and plaintiff's discovery responses; requesting records by obtaining authorizations or issuing subpoenas; scheduling depositions; preparing records for document production; retaining experts; and preparing deposition, mediation and trial binders. Must have previous experience with billing and time entry. Paralegal degree or certificate preferred and 3+ years of paralegal experience in a civil defense law firm required.
