Company Private Family Office
Position Executive Housekeeper
Reporting to Estate Manager
Location Aspen, CO

Position Overview
A private family is seeking a versatile and highly motivated individual to join the Property Management team as the part time Executive Housekeeper. The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the residence to the highest standards, ensuring that the home is always clean, safe, well-maintained, and prepared for the family and their guests. The ideal individual must be a self-starter who is service-oriented and enjoys working in a team environment that is mission and results driven.

The schedule is 20-30 hours per week and flexible around family/guest use. Weekdays when family is out of residence. When family is in residence, the Executive Housekeeper must be available for weekends. On occasion, the individual may be asked to work at other family residences, guest residences, or an office location. The Executive Housekeeper will walk up and down stairs daily and may frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Key Responsibilities
Thoroughly clean and maintain the entire residence, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, playrooms, and all living spaces. Ensure all areas, including outdoor spaces are maintained, clean, organized, and safe for children and pets.
Perform regularly scheduled tasks and preventative maintenance on all household appliances and technical systems. Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal task lists.
Consistently check for damaged household goods, light bulb outages, technical problems, and any other household issues. Report any issues to the Estate Manager in a timely manner.
Able to supervise all vendor work; comfortable communicating with vendors and reporting their performance to the Estate Manager.
Maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
Maintain all personal winter and summer gear and childrens gear such as strollers, car seats, indoor/outdoor toys.
Assist Estate Manager with maintaining household inventories and owners manuals.
Pre-Arrival grocery and supply shopping for entire household; refrigerator and pantry organization ensuring all required items are in stock with family in residence.
Diligent care of all clothing, perform regular laundry, and closet organization. Manage clothing sent out for professional care.
Collect and properly dispose of trash, recycling, and compost items.
Assist family with packing and unpacking on arrivals and departures.
Provide supplementary household support with pet care and cleanliness, floral arrangement care, personal shopping, and other personal errands as requested.
Assist family with setup and breakdown for entertaining or events including table setting and beverage station setup.
Able to prepare light meals or assist with meal preparation when the chef is not traveling with the family, preferred but not required. When chef is traveling with the family, communicate with the chef regarding meal planning and grocery needs.
Receive and manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages including printing return labels and transporting to mail carriers.
Act as an added layer of security, communicating concerns or vulnerabilities quickly.

Professional in appearance, demeanor, and execution of responsibilities.
Patient and flexible in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
Five years of housekeeping or relevant hospitality experience in a supportive role requiring a high level of client service.
Experience working in small to medium sized companies preferred. Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus.
Comfortable working in a family environment with children and pets.
Proven experience working independently, preferred but not required.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English and feel comfortable communicating with principals and management regularly.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to pass background and driving record checks. Valid drivers license. Willingness to sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
Required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and report your vaccination status with relevant documentation as a condition of employment. Fully vaccinated means you have received the final dose of a two-shot vaccine or a dose of a one-shot vaccine, and have received at least one booster vaccine prior to the first day of employment. Exemptions from the vaccine requirement will be considered for candidates needing a religious or medical exemption as a reasonable accommodation.
