Outside Sales Representative

Our client, a top building materials distribution company is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover one of their growing territories. They are a distributor of multiple products including tools, drywall, ceilings products and insulation. This position is responsible for establishing new business and maintaining existing customer relationships with contractors, designers, builders, architects, remodelers and other professionals in the industry. Company prefers a candidate with knowledge in the building materials industry. This role will concentrate on selling Exterior Envelope products such as exterior cladding, exterior insulation, waterproofing products and vapor barrier products.

The right candidate for this position is required to have at least 2 years of experience in outside sales. Direct product experience is not required but preferred. The candidate will be responsible for building relationships with a customer base that buys from them on a consistent basis.

Other Requirements:

College degree preferred
Territory Includes Western Michigan and other parts of Michigan.

Experience with Exterior Envelope products such as exterior cladding, exterior insulation, waterproofing products and vapor barrier products is preferred.
