We are growing rapidly, and have two exciting opportunities to join our fantastic team. We are currently hiring for a Sales Executive and Business Development Manager, so be sure to check out both adverts!

We are looking for a motivated individual who can strategically identify, target and secure new business opportunities to support our continued growth. We utilise our market-leading tech platform and in-house expertise to build long-term relationships with clients whilst delivering outstanding service and results.

This advert is for the Business Development Manager position.

Tasks

The company

Renewable Exchange is a market leader in providing commercial insights and delivering value to owners of renewable energy projects.

Our online platform is the cornerstone of our offering in the UK, and we re currently expanding into new international markets. We add value to our clients while ensuring that we take an ethical, client-first approach to everything we do.

Role

In your role as Business Development Manager you'll be an essential part of the UK sales team, spearheading our growth with the largest investment funds and owners of renewable portfolios in the UK.

Create and execute a strategy for acquiring and onboarding new accounts to drive revenue growth

  • Identify and target high-value clients and new growth opportunities for the business
  • Create and execute a strategy for acquiring and on-boarding new accounts to drive revenue growth
  • Continuously extend the reach of the Renewable Exchange brand - be an ambassador for the business
  • Build strong client relationships through regular communication, F2F meetings and networking at industry events
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the UK power market and communicate high-level insights to key accounts

Requirements

Skills

The ideal candidate will be:

  • An excellent communicator with experience pitching to company directors or equivalent
  • Motivated and driven to deliver the best service possible to our clients and develop long-term relationships
  • Well-presented and articulate with excellent time management
  • Able to achieve excellent results whilst delivering outstanding service to clients
  • Passionate about renewable energy & sustainability

Experience

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong BDM experience and a proven track record in a business-to-business environment
  • 3yrs + experience in similar role
  • Experience working in the energy industry would be advantageous but is not essential

  • Good base salary (relative to experience) + performance-based bonus structure. OTE of base salary +30%
