الوصف الوظيفي
The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities concerned with processing poultry products, utilizing knowledge of processing technology, processing methods, and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment. With this position, you will have the opportunity to work for a well-established USDA meat packing and processing organization that provides protein food products to a variety of industries.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Confer with operations management to establish and maintain processing and quality control standards, to develop budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products.
- Plan and direct processing activities and establish processing priorities for poultry products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors
- Coordinate processing activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum processing and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment
- Implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and to improve product quality
- Revise processing schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure, updates, or operating issues
- Consult with company personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve processing and quality of products
- May compile, store, and retrieve processing data
- Monitor performance of department to meet production efficiency, yield, and quality goals
- Provide a clear sense of direction for employees to work toward and encourage teamwork to achieve company goals
- 5+ years experience in the poultry processing industry with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Bilingual
