Overview:
Dispensary Manager-General Manager-Operations Manager-Multi-site Retail- Pharmacist
The Pharmacy Manager is primarily in charge of the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, which includes effective performance management and execution of retail operations at the designated dispensary location including merchandising staffing, and patient order fulfillment processes. Responsible for all transactions and the implementation of other retail processes that comply with the state and local law regulations and that service exceeds customer expectations.
Pay:$80,000-$125,000 annually
Location: Based in Alabama; Relocation assistance provided
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Day Shift & Weekends) Must be flexible with schedule
Duties:
- Responsible for managing provisioning center staff, schedules, inventory, and patient/customer relations.
- Achieve established standards, sales, and profit objectives as well as customer satisfaction. Ensure that all deadlines are met and take accountability for completion.
- Employee engagement.
- Serves as a role model for the entire staff.
- Ensure effective team communication.
- Actively manage inventory, recalls, returns, and pricing to meet cost and sales targets.
- Manage service labor, scheduling, and payroll budget.
- Develop and review KPI reports for dispensaries to monitor opportunities and challenges.
- Proactively monitor dispensary profit and loss.
- Maintain a general awareness of cannabis and retail trends to help create innovative and adaptive strategies.
- Work closely with grower-processors to understand and learn about their products.
- Coordinates with the upper management to ensure accurate information is communicated to provisioning center staff.
- Promote open feedback from retail staff, medical professional team, and the marketing department.
Qualifications:
- ADoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)is required to understand the day-to-day requirements of the position.
- Combination of retail management experience and a background in Pharmacy operations.
- Experience in the medical cannabis industry is highly desirable, but not required.
- Cannabis dispensary experience is desired.
