The ideal candidate has excellent knowledge of concrete high-rise construction, management skills and an eye for detail.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Supervise the construction of assigned projects in collaboration with the Senior Superintendent
• Execute project work plans aimed at keeping the project on track and on budget
• Manage all site supervision and workforce resources, providing mentorship and training
• Ensure the project materials and workmanship meet the project quality standards
• Maintain professional relationships with local trades, suppliers, customers and the general public
• When required, lead site project meetings and provide direction and guidance as needed
• Work with the Construction Safety Officer to ensure all safety programs are adhered to in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• The ability to read and interpret, working drawings and shop drawings, site instructions and RFI’s
• Work well under pressure to adhere to project completion timelines
• Coordinate with sub-trades to ensure all work is in compliance with contract documents
• Perform additional assignments as directed by the Senior Superintendent for the successful project completion

Qualifications & Knowledge:

• Minimum 5-10 years as a Superintendent with experience in multi-family concrete high-rise buildings
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage time, responsibilities, and priorities
• Must have comprehensive understanding of safety regulations within the general construction industry
• Ability to guide safe work practices in a high-pressured environment
• Knowledge of project construction law and building codes
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and proactively develop appropriate means and methods to meet and overcome challenges
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including Excel, Word and Outlook
