Part Time Data Entry Operator ( 100% Remote )

We are looking for a Data Entry Operator to type information into our database from paper documents. As a Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for entering specific data into our databases. You will be responsible for managing data and keeping it organized. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. You will report to a data manager or another senior data team member. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory.

Data Entry duties and responsibilities

• Input new information into database systems
• Create and manage spreadsheets
• Control the data probity by performing comparative analysis of different sources
• Regularly update existing database system records
• Produce reports
• Retrieve data as requested
• Perform regular backup and security database activities
• Document, organize and store relevant documents

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as data entry operator
• Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
• Basic understanding of databases
• Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
• Great attention to detail
• High school degree or equivalent
