Location: Moline, Illinois, 61265 (Onsite)
Pay rate: $32/hr - $35/hr
Shift Hours: 1st shift. Hours are 6-2:30 but there is some flexibility in this position, could work 7-3:30.
Requirement:
- Recent college graduates will be considered if they had an applicable internship
- Position will require metatarsal guard safety shoes, safety glasses (prescription if candidate requires), ear plugs, bump caps.
- Experience in Manufacturing or Quality Engineering
- Experience on cross functional teams in problem resolution
- Experience in use of statistical tools and techniques for quality management: Root cause analysis, Project Management, PPAP, Process FMEA (demonstrated experience), Manufacturing statistical methods, advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis
- Effective communication skills, including verbal and written
- Experience in coding, programming, or linking digital tooling or gages to software packages / machining centers.
Job Description:
- Shop Floor Quality support and troubleshooting
- Track and Report Quality Metric Performance
- Support and implement Cylinder Connected Gaging Strategy, and online gage data collection / analysis
- Support evaluation of Customer Returns, and root cause / corrective action
- Learns and uses quality planning tools and analysis to formulate/facilitate quality plans for new products within the product delivery, order fulfillment or customer support processes. Learns and uses quality tools consistent with quality processes to enable the focus on prevention by identifying and performing activities to minimize risk.
- Investigates product and process quality related issues and recommends changes to control plans and/or prints. Gathers and analyzes data pertinent to quality tools in the Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP), Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and/or Customer Support Process (CSP).
- Performs quality audits, including supporting International Standards Organization (ISO) audits, and maintains quality manual. Inputs and maintains information in factory databases and systems. Monitors quality plan tracking system. Assists in reviews and investigations of warranty claim information.
