Position Cath Lab RN -Cath Lab nurses are experts at providing compassionate care and preparing patients undergoing various minimally-invasive, interventional procedures such as catheterization and angioplasty. They have high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able to stay calm under pressure.
About the Cath Lab :
- 6 state-of-the-art procedure rooms
- Tulanes innovative Cath Lab specializes in interventional cardiology, interventional pulmonary, neurointerventional radiology, electrophysiology, and TAVR procedures
- Opportunity to work alongside Tulanes award winning Cardiovascular Services team while caring for patients before, during, after interventional procedures
- Work a Mon-Fri schedule while earning competitive On-Call pay!

Education
Associates Degree degreerequired
Experience
Minimum 1 year of RECENT Cath Lab or relevant critical care experience (SICU,CCU, or MICU) or Cardiovascular PACU experience
MUST have acute care experience
Licenses/Certifications
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state LA or a Multistate License
- ACLS - Within 6 months of hire
Additional Information:
What outside of the job description are you looking for in a candidate?Someone very flexible
- 3 hospitals in system.1 at Lakeview with own Leadership team.
- They are divided between North Shore & South shore of Lake.The North shore does not work in lock step with the South.They have their own anesthesiologist group & surgeons.
- South shore (them) more Academic.Have downtown & Lakeside campuses
