Consulting Partner - Retail

The Retail Consulting Partner is a role under Business Transformation Group responsible to provide Domain based thought leadership to one of our top tier Retail customer in US region. The Consulting Partner will be a Retail Domain & Strategy expert with strong leadership and management skills. You would be advising C-suite leaders on data-driven retail strategies to achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals. You have energy and drive in abundance, along with personal resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love of continual learning. You will help clients determine clear & actionable paths by bringing them new thinking on business and technology

Responsibilities:
Go deep to get the perspective of the retail segment that client operate in, and to grasp client's business options in the context of global, economic, technology, and social trends
Provide thought leadership across Retail value chain, business models and inform customer on the evolving trends in the space and drive the outcome-based transformation initiatives
Build trusted senior executive relationships with clients to enforce TCS profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner
Develop consulting & advisory related Go-To market & client engagement strategy with senior business leaders in the customer org
Evaluate existing landscape from capability perspective, identify gaps and help formulate the vision & roadmap for target state
Proactively identify business challenges as opportunities and create POVs & strategies with crystal-clear reasoning and statistical analyses
You would be responsible for driving consulting & advisory opportunity pipeline
Lead presales to delivery efforts for all consulting & advisory engagements
Ongoing refinement and deepening of your retail domain & technology trends with leading thought leadership and cutting-edge concepts to reinforce TCS's reputation as a thought leader
Manage and mentor junior members of the Consulting & Strategy team for increasing responsibility

Qualifications:
MBA or advanced degree in engineering or other quantitative disciplines with 15+ total industry experience
8+ yrs Retail experience with proven expertise in atleast two of the Retail domains (Merchandising / Supply Chain / Store Ops / Omnichannel )
5+ years of experience in Retail Consulting Role with Big 4 consulting or Business side experience at very Large US Retailer
Exposure to Home improvement retail segment a great plus
Strong business acumen & good exposure to Retail platforms and processes

1) Years of experience required for position Total 20yrs + with minimum 10yrs relevant exp

2) Location for the position Atlanta (preferred)
