About the project, we need power for

In collaboration with one of our partners, a well-funded fintech company, we are revolutionizing the payment market with a unique B2B marketplace concept. All components are offered, hardware, and software to equip everyday objects, accessories, and watches to become payable wearables. SwatchPay is already successfully implemented! and there are more than 60 banks in the network.

The market for wearables is huge. Until now, demand has been met almost exclusively through active wearables, which require a battery that must be charged, an Internet connection, and often have many other functions that make the whole thing expensive. This technology, on the other hand, does not require a battery. Energy is transferred passively via induction from the cash register, and this works for the lifetime of the wearable. So the payment function can be integrated into any wearable, and consumers can load their credit card onto it using the app and cloud platform.

Tasks

We are looking for a highly self-driven, responsible, and keen-to-learn full-stack developer who loves to develop awesome products with a focus on great user experiences.

You will be designing (technically), implementing, and delivering new features and workflows. Besides feature delivery, activities will include:

extending our solution by integrating new partners: e.g. process and analyze financial transactions

developing an API SDK that will be used by our customers from mobile and web apps

implementing fancy web portals for the administration of our products

Requirements

You shall bring:

5+ years of experience in Full Stack Development

Familiar with building complex products in Java, ideally already in Spring

Experience with JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, and CSS

Experience in modern Cloud Technologies like Google Cloud Platform preferable or AWS or Azure

Experience with build systems: Gradle preferable or Maven

Experience with version control (Git)

Fluent and structured English communication skills

Nice to have qualifications:

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Experience in using OpenAPI/Swagger specification for API development/usage, ideally already with code generation

Great team player and communicator in a diverse and international remote team
