Head of Embedded Department (m/f/d)

Aufgaben

• You are responsible for the technical/ disciplinary management and motivation of about 25 software developers in the following 8 groups: Bare Metal Baseline Software, RF Enabling Software, Platform Enabling, Software Testing, O/S (Operation System), O/S Software, Dev Ops, Product Owner
• In cooperation with the group leaders, you strengthen team bonding and divide the projects/ tasks between the groups
• It is important that you understand and ensure customer requirements and direct them to the application teams
• You develop the maintenance of the software testing process and perform continuous quality checks, to meet the defined time and targets
• As manager you will be in close contact with the CEO and report to him

Qualifikation

• Completed studies in the field of (electrical) engineering, computer science or technology
• Deep understanding of embedded hardware and ability to write testable, robust embedded application software
• Strong experience in software technologies, architectures and tools, embedded Linux, Continuous Integration/ Delivery and agile development in the domain of systems with functional safety requirements
• Social and leadership skills coupled with a high degree of flexibility
• Excellent communication skills in German and English that will enable you to conduct appropriate employee and feedback discussions
