Senior Software Engineer - C++

Over 2 billion people utilize our client's software! Do you wish to work for a hip company in an international setting? Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer C++ (m/f/d) to join their engineering team in Karlsruhe, G ppingen or Stuttgart and actively engage in the development of one of their new product features.

Tasks

- Designing and developing new platform-independent features for our client's software using C++

- Optimizing and enhancing our software with new efficient algorithms and technologies

- Working collaboratively in an agile development team such as Scrum within a continuous integration environment

- Being responsible for ensuring efficient implementation and for code of the highest quality

- Recommending and implementing improvements to architecture/technologies to further enhance our systems and codebase regarding reliability, maintainability, scalability, and performance

- Monitoring the latest technical developments in your field and initiating improvements

- Acting as an advisor to product owners (feasibility studies and time estimates for new functionality to be implemented)

Requirements

- Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of German is a plus

- Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field. Related experience is also acceptable

- Several years of professional experience in the field of object-oriented software development using C++ (Version 14 or above) and design patterns

- Ability to work with NoSQL databases

- Knowledge of Go, CMake and Git is a plus

- Experience in any of the following fields would be desirable: parallel programming, distributed and scalable systems, security, SQL, CQL, or network communication

- Thinking/working in a structured and analytical approach

- Being a team player and eager to learn new things
