Job Title: Project Coordinator 35012
Description:
- Represents a business group on strategic and tactical project teams and serves as the point of contact for issues to ensure that the needs of the group are known, defined and met.
- This position is for a project coordinator for the wheel and tire operations team.
- Due to current supply chain constraints, some tire suppliers are unable to provide enough capacity to keep up with production.
- This position will be responsible for managing strategic alternative aftermarket sourcing strategies.
- There are some tactical functions as well like managing payments, resolving payment discrepancies, forecasting, problem resolution with supply chain issues, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Represents the business group on project teams and serves as the point of contact.
- Evaluates, develops and implements new processes and policies to maximize operating efficiencies and satisfy business requirements.
- Develops and defines requirements for projects.
- Develops and executes test plans and time lines to enable smooth and timely project implementations.
- Develops and updates department specific forms, contracts or manuals
- Coordinates communication with appropriate personnel or customers.
- Creates and updates spreadsheets and databases to track statistical data.
- Creates documentation and training materials.
- May provide training on updated processes and policies.
- Assists the business group with daily job responsibilities as needed.
Education:
- The manager is looking for someone with 3-5 years of real life, practical experience or a recent college graduate with SAP experience
Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must for this position
- Experience with SAP, SharePoint, Tableau, and Power BI is a real plus
- A background in Supply Chain management would help this person be successful in the role
- Must be familiar and have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite especially with excel.
