Position Title: Operations manager - administrative services (NOC 0114) Position Available: 1 Company Address: 2696 Pandosy St, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 1V6 459 Bernard Ave., Kelowna, BC, V1Y 6N8 COMPANY: Social Pets is an independent pet supply and grooming store for all your pet needs! Social Pets isn't just any pet store. we are a busy Pet Supplies & Dog Grooming Retail Store based in Kelowna and we provide professional hydraulic tables, bathing tubs, and dryers A quick walk through our store and you will immediately notice the difference. While we are similar to many holistic pet food stores in serving only the best foods for your pets, we have tried to create a bit of pet heaven by stocking our store with one of the largest selection of toys, treats, and accessories in Kelowna. Currently, we are looking for a full time operation manager to join our team. As a operation manager, you will perform the following job duties: Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources or other administrative services Plan, administer and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies Interview, hire and arrange for training of staff Prepare material cost estimate and quotation letters, reports and briefs for company evaluating services Manage inventory levels and order and enter sales invoice per contract or quote terms, Coordinate with vendors, issue purchase order documents, Manage the movement of products to specific job sites, follow up with client as required to ensure products are received as required, Select & manage transportation services and budget for the required service, Assist in developing, documenting, and implementing effective controls and processes to ensure the integrity of financial information Responsible for accounting and reporting strategy, including optimizing tax strategy and streamlining cash flow and dividends Assist with processing of AR, AP, Bank deposit, GST and PST recording and account reconciliation Reconcile intercompany accounts and other balance sheet accounts QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration or a related administrative services field is usually required. Several years of experience at a professional level in business administration, finance or administrative services are usually required. Ability to operate Windows and standard office suite applications. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to assess and prioritize jobs and work under tight deadlines, Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $70,000.00 per year Working Hours: 30 hours per week Location: Kelowna, BC (Required) How to Apply: Please send your resume to Please reference job title in the subject line and ensure contact name and number and/or Email is provided.
