Senior Java Development Lead

NOTE: Senior and local profiles please as this role is hybrid and need to be onsite from day 1.

Responsible for:

*Developing and implementing technology solutions within your area and adopting market trends into the new way of working

*Your knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming, that will help your team raise their game, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements.

*Your expertise in various technology domains, that will be counted on to set strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally

*Implementing DevOps techniques and practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, Build Automation and Test-Driven Development to enable the rapid delivery of working code-utilizing tools like Jenkins, Gradle and Git

To succeed, need to possess:

*Bachelors in Computer Science or related field from a reputable institute.

*Experience/Track Record in performing well in Hackathons.

*Hands on current experience on Java/Scala, JUnit, XML, Spring and SQL.

*Hands on experience working in a public cloud implementation.

*Need to demonstrate in-depth understanding of OO principles, design patterns and threading techniques.

*Strong web Services background required.

*Experience with DevOps practices.

*Experience with Cloud Security Architecture

*Experience with Event Orchestration architecture using Kafka or equivalent.

*Ability to build or work in a continuous integration framework.

*Must be able to interact with all levels of personnel within the organization and be effective with both business and technical teams.

*Ability to deal with ambiguity and define approaches to bring unfocused issues to resolution

*Excellent written and oral communication skills for managing interactions both within the team and without.

*Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong work ethics.
