MED TECH-TRAVEL

Duties: Performs technical analytical procedures requiring knowledge and techniques in areas such as hematology, chemistry, special chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, serology, urinalysis, coagulation, and phlebotomy as ordered by the physician. Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting for laboratory instrumentation. Performs, records, and participates in evaluation of Quality Control for tests conducted. Performs all work in accord to the mission, vision and values of St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

Skills: Would need to be able to do Chemistry Hematology Coagulation Urinalysis Blood Bank

Education: ASCP - Required Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences w/ Internship in MT - Required Good Computer Skills and Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word - Required Previous Medical Experience - Highly desired Primary Source On-Line Verification - Required

Schedule Notes: 4PM - 4AM Night shift 7 on - 7 off (We all agree on this as being the biggest need) Would need to be able to do Chemistry Hematology Coagulation Urinalysis Blood Bank 11:30am - 8pm or 2:30 pm - 11 pm, M-F. Prefer 230p-11. Whichever time frame you think we can fill fastest. Would need to be able to do Chemistry Hematology Coagulation Urinalysis Blood Bank
