Our client company is seeking an experienced engineer to be responsible for implementation of short to medium term product and process improvement projects of Polymer, Staple, BCF, and Industrial Fibers.

You must be willing to:
Provide technical support for responsible processes to operating and maintenance personnel
Assure clearly defined procedures/instructions are documented/issued
Provide new product/process support in Technology
Work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization

Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY)
BS or MS in Engineering (Chemical/Materials Science preferred)
4-7+ years experience in polymer/fiber processing (fiber spinning experience a plus)
Statistical analysis/DOE experience preferred
Six Sigma (Green Belt certified) or equivalent experience implementing productivity/continuous improvement projects preferred
Proficient computer skills (MS Office/databases/SAP/graphics/JMP or SAS/Minitab)
Experience as a Team player within a matrix organization
Emergency Response experience highly desired
