Position: Procurement Analyst
Location: Remote
Duration: 8+ Months
Job Responsibility:
- Manage the procurement of materials and services for clients Renewable and Energy Solutions Team through accurate procurement project management and planning; innovative sourcing; and contract development, negotiation and administration.
- Supplier identification and qualification; procurement project management and planning; procurement sourcing; RFP preparation; bid evaluation and negotiation, purchase order preparation; contract administration including: negotiating and settling claims or back charges, and dispute resolution; material and services planning to yield cost savings; tracking market conditions and identify spending trends to facilitate and leverage spend efficiencies; and, host and/or attend procurement and client interface meetings to facilitate procurement engagements.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree and at least 5 years of procurement-related experience as Sr. Procurement Analyst and at least 3 years of procurement-related experience for a Procurement Analyst. Without a degree at least 9 years of procurement-related experience
- Proficient in personal computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- General knowledge of UCC & Contract Law
- Supporting and preparing RFP, settle and negotiating vendor disputes and contract development and negotiation
- Ability to travel
- Innovative in sourcing and procuring materials and services
- High interface with stakeholders; legal, finance, renewable energy operations, and procurement team; lots of interaction cross-functionality.
- Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and development
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Heavy on administrative and organization of contractors and facilitating approvals
Desired Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and ARIBA
