Electrical Project Engineer (m/f)

Our client Circa is an Australian start-up founded in 2006. The head office is located in Oslo, Norway. The goal of the company and its investors is to turn the millions of tonnes of wasted or underused non-food cellulose into bio-based, high-performant and sustainable alternative to toxic fossil-based chemicals. Although still very young, Circa Group already achieved remarkable milestones.

Support from the EU's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme is helping to further develop the "ReSolute" plant, which is located in north-eastern France.

To increase the production of Cyrene (bio-based solvent) and to contribute to the long-term development strategy, we are looking for a flexible, proactive, independent and environmentally aware: Electrical Project Engineer (m/f)

Tasks

• Responsible for all aspects of E&I-engineering in the construction and operation of production facilities
• Collaborate with engineering firms, integrators and suppliers to ensure functional, compliant and cost-effective designs for new production facilities
• Support maintenance teams to troubleshoot relevant issues and consult with workers to identify hazards, assess risks and implement controls
• Contribute to the successful commissioning of the "ReSolute" plant and other equipment on schedule and within budget
• Assist in achieving the goals of the technical, maintenance and production teams and in achieving the capital plan
• Share knowledge and maintain strong networks (internal and external) to support business improvements
• Participate in all HSE studies

Requirements

• Technical engineering degree, e.g. Master's / Bachelor's in electrical engineering, systems engineering, etc., with experience in HV, MV and LV topics
• Experience with the specification, design, construction and commissioning of automation and control systems (SCADA, PLC), field instrumentation and sound understanding with chemical plants and processes
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0/5.0 as well as in the application of their technologies and architectures
• Strong project management, implementation and problem-solving skills
• Commercial experience in the areas of procurement / contracting
• Team player and networker with enthusiasm and high company identification
• Fluent in English, knowledge of French and German a plus
