Production UW, Comml E&S, REMOTE

This is one of the nations top P&C companies with an immediate opening for an experienced Commercial, E&S Production Underwriter for the Portland or central Oregon area.
This is a remote work situation and the company offers exceptional support for their Production UWs, from personnel to equipment. This includes, Underwriting Assistant support, company car, laptop, phone, expense account and extensive training.

Company writes a wide variety of commercial P&C products on a non-admitted basis through their own brokerage division and work exclusively with a select group of retail agents across the country.

This Production/Field Underwriter will be responsible for new and renewal business in their assigned territory, with full authority. Responsibilities also include travel with possible overnight stays.

Qualified candidates will have prior experience in Excess and Surplus underwriting as well as a marketing background. Those with a carrier background are preferred but company will consider those with an MGA background as well.
CPCU and/or Bachelors degree preferred.
