Will be based out of one of our following locations: Lake Charles, LA; Pasadena, TX; Columbia, MD. Travel Required 35%+

Our client company is seeking an experienced process controls expert to be responsible for developing and implementing a 2 to 3year plan to improve and standardize company controls systems.

You must be willing to:
Assess/upgrade existing infrastructure
Develop a vision/strategy for controls systems across entire company
Develop overall capital expenditure plan/timing
Manage high-performance controls team to execute on company global control strategy
Lead discovery/selection of key partners/suppliers for future investments in process control
Identify skills/training requirements for personnel

Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY)
BS or MS in Chemical Engineering
Minimum 10+ years of experience with process controls systems/instrumentation/process automation in a chemical environment
Process experience in wet and dry material handling systems
Knowledge of current Honeywell/Rockwell controls technology strongly preferred
Strong operations/project management experience
