We are looking or a Sr level Engineer to be part of a team building a cloud-based Data Analytics system from scratch. Some of the responsibilities will include working with vendors, engaging in the decision-making process and challenge 3rd party decisions.
We would like to see candidates that have at least 6 years’ experience with data and analytics interaction and application architecture. Candidates should have experience and the ability to work well with both non-technical and technical teams. This role will be positioned with the Digital Marketing team.
You will need to show experience with:
• Digital marketing technology stack including integrating digital analytics and CRM capabilities with the BIG Data analytics and infrastructure
• Cloud-based Data and Analytics platform implementation (Amazon or Microsoft Azure are a huge plus)
• At least 5 years with significant exposure to platform technologies
• Attunity and MicroStrategy
• Interlocking structured and unstructured data within the enterprise
**This is not an Architect position.
Additional Skills
- Tableau, and Dossier.
- Oracle and relational data structure.
- Real-time streaming architectures (e.g. Apache Kafka, Kinesis, and Azure Streams
- Managing junior technical resources in delivering a complex Big Data strategy/implementation projects
- Web Services / SOA integration (SOAP, RESTful)
- Snowflake.
5+ years of platform architecture experience working on any of the following:
– 1-2 enterprise Hadoop /Spark implementations, NoSQL technologies (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Neo4j etc.) and advanced analytics technologies (e.g. predictive as well as prescriptive, SAS, R, Python, Machine Learning, etc.)
Must Haves- Designing, programming, testing and maintaining complex data platforms and components.
- Identifying the scope of work and preparing thorough, accurate and detailed schedule estimates.
- 6-8 years of experience with data and analytics integration, application architecture interlocking unstructured and structured data
- Expertise working on MPP architecture, distributed systems and analytics platforms
- Experience with the Digital marketing technology stack and integrating digital analytics and CRM capabilities with the Big Data analytics infrastructure.
- Background working with one major cloud-based Data and Analytics platform implementations and certifications - Amazon, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
