Industrial Electrician - Night Shift - Stratford

Electrician PERMANENT Straight Nights (10:45pm to 6:55am)

PAY: $36.89/hr to start + benefits from Day 1 + incentive bonuses

LOCATION: Stratford, Ontario

Qualifications:

* Red Seal / Inter Provincial Industrial Electrician (442A) or Construction Maintenance Electrician (309A) certification
* Experience working in automotive industry an asset
* Experience with Fanuc or Motoman (Yaskawa) robots an asset
* PLC knowledge and experience in troubleshooting ladder logic, ability to create or edit new programs
* Knowledge in automation communication standards and how to troubleshoot common faults
* MIG and spot-welding knowledge an asset
* Electrical knowledge in a wide variety of control and power
* Able to read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and machine drawings
* Attention to detail and ability to keep proper documentation of work completed
* Experience in process improvements, cycle time improvements, and Kaizen development an asset
* Motivated self-starter
* Ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion with minimal supervision
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player
* Mechanical aptitude an asset
* Computer literate
* Safety conscientious
* Willing and able to work assigned shift and overtime as required

Duties:

* Electrically troubleshoot equipment and processes
* Perform preventative maintenance tasks and improve equipment efficiencies
* Production line support
* Complete all maintenance work in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario and industrial regulations
* Be available to work during shutdown periods and at times on overtime on short notice
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
