Duties and Responsibilities
Follow up on any discrepancies and queries on accounts
Processing and reconciling cash books
General bookkeeping up to balance sheet
Depreciation calculations and fixed asset register
Stock taking and maintenance
Recording of journal entries
Scrutinise income and balance sheet amounts for any unusual activity
Month-end processes and reports to the financial manager
IRP 5s and EMP 501 calculations and recons
Calculation of PAYE, UIF and SDL on a monthly basis
Submission of returns on SARS e-Filing
Assist in preparation of annual financial statements
Maintain customer relationships
General admin duties
Requirements:
BCom Degree or Diploma
2-3 years relevant experience (articles will be considered as experience)
Ability to speak Afrikaans fluently, essential
