About the job:

We are hiring a motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and implementing transportation and logistics plans and processes to meet desired objectives.

Job Duties:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operation of business
Efficiently evaluate the costs of transportation, services and inventory within any budget or distribution strategy
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations
Set transportation policies and standards to maintain workplace safety
Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers
Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency
Arrange for shipping documentation and oversee the scheduling and dispatching of goods and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit
Manage warehouse staff to ensure to support all aspects of shipping/receiving inventory
Ensures our warehouse space is well utilized and follows proper loading, uploading, stocking and storage procedures to prevent product damages and workplace dangers
Develop and manage the logistics budget
Collaborate with our sales team to optimize customer shipping models and optimal order sizing
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports
Performs other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications
5+ years in Logistics, Operations, Warehousing, Transportation or Distribution
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Operation Management, Transportation or Business Administration
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent management, interpersonal and negotiating skills
