Role: Field Services Lead / Ops Manager

Location: Chicago, Illinois - ONSITE DAY 1

FULLTIME

Job Description:

The selected professional will be handling the team of ~40 resources. Responsible for managing the strategic and operational delivery of the End User Computing Services across the North America region. This is a role with great organizational reach and exposure providing with the opportunity to work with many different parts of the business and establish strong-partnership style-relationships with key internal stakeholders.

It includes management of external suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of the required products and services and the supplier strategy is fit for purpose. Anticipate and resolve problems, manage continuous service improvement and innovation and drive the decision-making process to ensure the underlying technologies and supplier partnerships are providing the necessary operational service levels to meet the business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the strategic and operational delivery of the IT Field Services across the North America region.
  • Manages key external suppliers to ensure successful delivery of required products and services
  • Should have working knowledge of Tech-Bar operations
  • Understanding of Depot model for Centralize Asset distribution and its operations
  • Transition of the new business services
  • Management of assets and inventory, and maintenance scheduling and repairs.
  • Development and execution of asset management policies, procedures and processes.
  • Forecast and budgeting management, as well as financial planning for IT Field Services assets.
  • Management of EUS IT asset life cycles to improve quality control of assets.
  • Serve as a tool for business and IT leadership to understand end to end cost involved in providing/maintaining the given service
  • Serve as a tool to assist business and IT leadership in the decision-making process for investments towards meeting target SLAs
  • Define and maintain Hardware lifecycle support
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with various stakeholders from multiple divisions and reporting levels
  • Provide status report and dashboard reporting.
  • Ensure that the Operational SLAs and KPIs are Green all the time.
  • Ensure that the Service center operations are seamless and systems are getting delivered to Techs within agreed timeframe.
  • Requirements

    • 10+ years of experience of working in IT Field Services Lead role.
    • Ability to lead the team of ~40 members located onsite and offshore location.
    • Education - Associate Degree
    • Understanding of Apple-MAC devices support
    • Working knowledge of Service Now ticketing system
    • Knowledge of ITIL Operations and EUS IT Hardware management process
    • knowledge of IMAC process
    • Understanding of IT Depot model
    • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
    • Able to lead, guide and mentor team members
    • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
    • Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; remain productive during slow times, be able to multitask effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations.
    • Take ownership and responsibility of an issues from start through to a successful resolution
    • Develop sound understanding of IT operations and related applications and IT systems as well as business related processes and procedures
    • Maintains and consistently demonstrates a general knowledge of company guidelines, processes, practices and procedures

    KEY POINTS: Candidate should have understanding of Asset Management, Tech Bar, Dispatch etc. Please search for profiles with around 5-7 years of Field Services lead experience.
