The Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner leverages knowledge of the specialty insurance industry and knowledge of company systems and, along with members of the development team, ensures delivery of solutions that deliver maximum value to business partners. The Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner will be a champion for all established processes including Agile Scrum and will support the definition and rollout of future process improvements, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the advisory engagements Discovery, Assessment, Pre-inception, Inception, Roadmap creation.
2. Lead/Contribute the pre-sales activities RFI/RFP, Client presentations.
3. Contribute in Solutions, Assets and Accelerators, Best practices, Innovation and Automation.
4. Contribute in branding - PoV/Approach papers, Blogs, White papers, Webcast/Podcast, conferences.

Required Skills:

1. 10+ years of experience as lead business analyst / business architect / solutions architect in specialty business, personal lines, commercial lines.
2. 8+ years of experience in implementation and maintenance support on industry leading platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Insurity, OneShield.
3. Experience in leading pre-sales pursuits RFI/RFP, Proposal presentation.
4. Experience in developing solutions, assets and accelerators.
5. Excellent knowledge of commercial lines ISO products Forms, Rules and Rating, Workers Comp NCCI product.
6. Excellent knowledge of insurance functionality, workflows and transactions Policy and Billing OR Claims, Reporting, Reinsurance, Analytics.
7. Experience in Agile methodology.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication and articulation / presentation skills.
9. Excellent leadership and team building skills.
10. Mentor business analyst team on Insurance domain, industry best practices, innovations.
