Visual Manual Inspector
Location Lymington
Excellent rates of pay
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6:45am to 15:30pm
Visual Manual Inspector Responsibilities:
Visual inspection of mechanical parts and assemblies
Use of visual inspection equipment
The use of general measuring equipment.
Other administration duties relevant to the Quality Department
Thread Checking
Review incoming Vendor Certifications & Specification requirements
Learning calibration processes
Willing to carry out a variety of duties
Motivated and a self-starter able to work on own initiative
Able to work in a team environment or alone
Work to a high standard of accuracy
An organised and flexible approach to work
Ability to effectively manage time to ensure activities are completed within deadlines
Liaise confidently with employees at all levels
Visual Manual Inspector Requirements:
Good Level of education to undertake the role, Previous experience in a similar role, Work to a high standard of accuracy & Understanding of drawing tolerances & specifications
About the client:
A leading manufacturer of precision machined components, fabrications, assemblies and kit sets for the Oil and Gas, Telecommunications, Aerospace and Defence, Land and Sea Systems, Nuclear and Marine industries for over 30 years.
Their state of the art 121,000 sq. ft of manufacturing area is equipped with the latest manufacturing technology. This includes numerous multi axis CNC Machines with turning and milling capability up to 4 meters in length and Flexible Manufacturing Systems capable of working unmanned to produce components to close tolerances 24 hours per day.
