Tasks
What you will be doing:
- Drive monthly, quarterly and annual financial closures
- Group accounting for multi EU countries operation and oversight of statutory accounting performed by external service providers
- Coordinate work of a team of internal and external accountants
- Manage and monitor the order to cash process through collaboration with commercial team leaders as well as close involvement in the ERP-CRM processes and tooling
- Improve and maintain the accounting policies and internal control framework
- Execute the annual external audit process
- Ensure tax compliance through policies and controls
- Lead treasury activities and support cashflow forecasting
- Closely collaborate with FP&A in financial statements analysis
Requirements
What we will love about you:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Auditing
- Solid accounting knowledge and good understanding of group taxation
- Min 8 years of relevant work experience in an international setting
- Experience working with advanced accounting systems as well as G Suite (G Sheets), alternatively MS Office and willingness to learn G Sheets
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Project management and change management skills a big plus
- Being a results oriented self-starter who can work independently, and constantly seek better ways of achieving the organization's goals.
- Team player, resilient and with strong business and personal ethics
- Very good communication and social skills
- Fluent in English, written and verbal. German is a big plus
