Storage Engineer

Location: Remote

Remote, ok? Yes

Responsibilities and Duties:

• 3-5 years of enterprise experience performing storage deployments on EMC products.
• Provisioning level experience with the following EMC products:
  • VMAX 40K, 200K, 450F, 850F with SRDF S/A, and Timefinder replication technologies.
  • VMAX management using Unisphere and Solutions Enabler
  • XtremIO for low latency applications.
  • VNX w/VNX Replicator
  • VPlex Local and Metro
  • RecoverPoint (integration with XtremIO a plus)
  • EMC Isilon NAS with SyncIQ.
  • Backup Data Domain 9500's and TSM backups for distributed workloads.
• Experience with basic FC port connectivity, aliasing, and zoning on Cisco MDS FC switches.
• Custom reporting of asset inventory and utilization using EMC SRM or NetApp OCI.
• Storage automation experience is preferred (EMC ViPR, or Python).
• Knowledge of UCS, VMWare, Windows, Linux, and VDI is a plus.
• Backup Data Domain 9500's and TSM backups for distributed workloads
