DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES
SAS is seeking a full-time SAS Customer Insights Analyst to work with our client, a Marketing Analytics client.
QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL
A minimum of Bachelor's, preferably in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or a related field is required and equivalent work experience required.
Successful candidates will possess:
Competencies in utilizing SASSQL for data retrieval and analysis
SAS Programming experience. Other coding languages are a plus (R, Python, etc.)
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to interpret data effectively to provide insight for strategic partnerships
Skillful in Microsoft applications with advanced Excel exposure (ex. v-lookups, pivot tables, VB macro scripting, etc.)
Experience in SAS Visual Analytics, Power BI, or Cognos is a plus
Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Strong time management skills
Ability to adapt to challenging situations
5+ years of SAS programming, data architecting and technical design.
Analytical Programming experience in SAS as well as experience with SAS Visual Analytics.
Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step), SQL programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for use in making code more efficient.
Good written and spoken communications skills in English and thought-leadership skills.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILTIES/ACTIVITIES:
Services may include focus on and require the Consultant to:
Support operational reporting component of the WebLoyalty business
Maintain existing reporting processes
Build automated reporting processes to minimize manual effort
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into analyses
Act as a data expert to support account teams in answering questions and queries
