Currently hiring 10 Long haul truck drivers
Business location: 29115 Haverman Rd, Abbotsford, BC, V4X 2P4
Yard location: 31381 King Rd, Abbotsford, BC, V2T 5Z2
Wage: $27.50/hour for 10hrs/day and 50hrs/week.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: As Soon as possible
Requirements for this position
Basic English skills.
High school diploma is required.
Experience an asset, on job training will be provided.
Candidate applying for this position must hold a Valid (Class 1 or A) Drivers licence and Air brake (Z) Endorsement.

Duties
Operate and driver straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and material.
Monitor loading and unloading, assist when required.
Pre-plan the travel schedules and routes.
Obtain all the required documents for travel.
Perform proper pre-trip inspection of vehicle prior to trip and post-trip inspection upon return.
Maintain a proper log book that contains distance driven, rest stop duration, fuel, and repair if required.
Use road maps and GPS devices for directions.
May Operate as a team of two when required.
Inform the dispatcher about any delays caused due to road conditions, accidents or breakdowns.
