Project Planning & Strategy

Setup program governance required for successful execution of the IB/Renewals Roadmap

Experience working with software Product teams, in key enterprise systems (Salesforce, CPQ, CLM), with an understanding of product life-cycle, customer and partner engagement for the different product life-cycle phases.

This role will be responsible for working with key business partners and IT teams to deliver solutions to support VMware's growing business with optimized process, policy & technology.

Oversee business aspects of program/project by constructing of project teams, charters, project plans, contingencies, success metrics and ROI measurements

Work closely with the all stakeholders in supporting end-to-end automations projects including downstream & upstream impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, cross functional collaboration (globally), user acceptance testing and smoke testing

Build business requirements including descriptive texts, process flows, and related information describing the required system changes for development

Analysis and prioritization of enhancements for IT releases by effectively strategizing according to business goals

As required by the business, this role will need to work independently, across distributed teams at different levels of the organization

Handle issues and service requests coming from the Operations Teams and provide guidance to IT on handling case

Generate useful insights for current state processes, pain points, and designed solutions for functional leaders and key stakeholders globally to add value across sales organization

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration or operations is required

6+ years of experience in program management

Ability to influence without Authority on key programs

Good understanding of SQL Server, VB, .NET, ETL tools and concepts, Enterprise systems architecture, cloud architecture and good programming practices.

Has very good MS Office skills primarily working with high Excel data, effective PowerPoint presentations creation, Word based business case creation.

Experience working in CRM applications namely SFDC, CPQ etc., Understands the systems very well and knows the implications of the changes being done

Adoption and Change Management experience within a highly dynamic corporate environment and experience with organizational change effort

Brings good understanding on SaaS working model. Prior experience in this area will be preferred

Ability to learn other enterprise systems quickly, with little or no guidance

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, organizational abilities, and proven attention to detail

Passion for competition and the ability to maintain personable working relationships with all internal and external customers

Ability to initiate process improvement plans and drive for change

A self-starter, highly motivated, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
