Junior System Engineer

We are looking for a highly talented and self-motivated Junior System Engineer to accelerate Datrixs transformation and extend our IT team.

In this job, you will be responsible for a double role:

• DevSecOps, develop Cloud and on-prem architectures, process automation, development of Python and Bash applications and scripts, spread DevSecOps practises across all our companies.
  

• Drive IT support activities across all group companies including computer staging, IT device management, security tools installation, software licences, meeting rooms connectivity and general IT support.

Interview Process

Please be aware that our recruiting process is composed of 2 steps as following:

- HR interview call via Skype, Google Meet, or Teems;

- Short technical assignment;

- Final interview via call or in presence based on availabilities;

Your Responsibilities

• Must be motivated and enthusiastic in exploring and adopting new tools;
  

• PCs and Mobiles maintenance, factory reset, and check automation on all devices;
  

• Python & Bash programming in order to automate ERP ticketing system;
  

• General IT support on common issues (password reset, new account creation, issue with software, etc.);
  

• System integration and business process automation;
  

• Develop, maintain and monitoring DevSecOps pipelines with Jenkins and CircleCI like solutions;
  

• Setup and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters both on-premise and Cloud;
  

• Developing & monitoring tools for Cloud connectivity, security and infrastructure;
  

• Occasionally setup workstations with monitors, keyboards, mouse, LAN connectivity, and meeting rooms management;
  

Requirements

- Familiar with a programming language such as Python or Golang;

- Must have experience with Linux, Windows, McOS, git, and SQL;

- Interested in managing devices including PCs and smartphones;

- Good communication skills in both Italian and English;

- Solid problem-solving skills and demonstrated critical thinking;

- Privacy & Security-first mindset;

- Able to collaboratively work in flexible team; objective-driven mentality;

- Interested in learning Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform;
