Senior Legal Counsel - Berlin (m/f/d)

At Deep Blue Recruitment, we are working with a global, publically listed tech company hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to join the team here in Berlin on a hybrid working model.

Focusing mainly on commercial legal matters, the Senior Legal Counsel will get exposure to a range of topics (Commercial, Corporate, Capital Markets, etc.) - we aren't looking for a specialist in each of these areas, just a willingness to get involved!

Tasks

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts from start to finish in close collaboration with the business.
• Managing a range of commercial legal topics, particularly regarding commercial contracts with partners.
• Support with corporate and post-merger implementation topics.
• Providing legal advice in a simple, practicable, and clear manner.
• Performing legal housekeeping and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as a fully qualified lawyer, fluent in German.
• You have worked in-house or in private practice covering relevant legal topics.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide sound, clear and succinct legal advice to the business.
• You have experience with commercial transactions and an appetite to pick up a wide range of legal topics.
