Junior Cyber Specialist

For our site in Varkaus or Kuopio, we are currently looking for a Junior Cyber Specialist for our Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) organization - in the specific in our Lifecycle Solutions and Services (LSS) team.

Tasks

• Installing and taking care of basic Cyber related matters like Windows updates, and AV Software updates as a starting point.
• Later on focusing on higher demanding areas like building Cyber secure remote connections (configuration & implementation)
• When your expertise grows you shall be able to specify suitable Cyber solutions for our customers and support also sales
• If you are interested to make your final graduation thesis in Cyber solutions in the automation area we can offer topics and support for that purpose.
• Supporting the Service Team and growing Finland installed base.
• Coordination with and communication together with Senior Engineers and customers.
• Strict alignment to Honeywell and client health and safety program requirements.
• We will extensively train you on your path on growing the expertise skills required and we can also consider a part-time role during completing your studies

Requirements

• We'd love to see your degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Information or Engineering Technology, or Automation Engineering.
• You may have some experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer-based process control systems, or you can be a fresh graduate ready to take the first step in your career. You may also have experience with networks and switches configuration (e.g. Cisco Certificates)
• You truly enjoy spending time in front of your laptop and you have great computer skills - you may know how to program, and have an idea of virtualization, networks, Cyber, and IIOT. Tell us more about your university courses or your tech hobbies!
• You are able to accurately document designs and work performed - for instance, you have done this in some university projects.
• You feel excited to speak directly with your customers and you understand that your job can make a difference.
• You are fluent in Finnish and English - no matter what, your written/verbal communication and social skills always influence your partners positively.
