About Fintico

Fintico is an in 2022 founded Fintech in the Embedded Lending space. We are building an Embedded Lending Marketplace the CHECK24 for instalment loans at the Point of Sale. We offer online shoppers a transparent choice of banks and interest rates to finance their purchase in a best possible way.

We are fortunate to have won the support of first investors, bank partners, and merchants. First shops have recently gone live. Our rocket ship start-up is now accelerating and bound for takeoff. Join us in this super exciting phase of transforming the way how Embedded Lending works!

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Manager to drive our growth. This pivotal role is an opportunity for a sales rock star with an entrepreneurial mindset. Your responsibilities include lead generation, forging relationships with key merchants, and closing deals. This will include cold contacting prospective customers, conducting phone and in-person meetings, and attending events and conferences. Because Fintico is so young, there is a great deal of opportunity for the role to grow with the company.

Tasks

  • You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing on sales opportunities for Fintico, especially with a view on winning key merchants for our Embedded Lending Marketplace.
  • Build and drive your prospects list via your personal network, the use of relevant databases as well as attending relevant events and conferences.
  • Generate and follow-up on business opportunities via phone, email, and professional networks.
  • Identify decision makers in target companies and secure meetings to secure the deals.
  • Negotiate commercial contracts and onboard new merchants with us as well as our partner banks.
  • Guide new merchants through our technical integration process in collaboration with our founders.
  • Diligently track your sales progress using our CRM tools.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of sales experience in the B2B space (preferably in payments, software, and/or retail).
  • You are an excellent communicator and very skilled at presenting and pitching via various mediums (phone calls, video calls, emails, messages, events).
  • You think and act as an entrepreneur. You are highly motivated to take ownership, find hands-on solutions and drive impactful results.
  • Good technical understanding of payments and shop systems is a plus.
  • You are business fluent level in German and English.
